Everything's Changing

That's exactly how I felt today [well, actually just this evening]. After a fun funn FUN fuuunn [!!!!] day at the Ortigas Malls*, Kuya Ron, Zab and I made our way home at 7:30pm... an adventure filled with difficulties of getting a cab/fx [so many denied us that I lost count], the cold breeze of the wind [Kuya Ron fears that we'll get hypothermia, OA noh?] and the unstoppable rain pouring down on us [my not so trusty little hot pink umbrella didn't help at all]. Wala rin namang pasalamat sa mga sasakyang tinalsikan kami ng tubig. Bittersweet, indeed, today was. The sweet part, you may ask? The part where I was with two wonderful people who have been a part of my life, Kuya Ron and Zab.

In the taxi [we finally got one!], I felt safe, was at peace and happy. I hugged Zab. I hugged her tight and long. I was very happy. I cried. I burst into tears. I was sad that these 2 wonderful people are soon to be gone, as in drift away from me. Kuya Ron's going back to the seminary, of course. Zab and I will be off to different colleges; Manila and Katipunan are very far you know. Then it all crashes down to me. A realization. EVERYTHING'S CHANGING. It makes me sad, yet it's something we all have to accept. Change is actually the only constant thing in life, thus we should get used to it. On the bright side is that this change opens us to many more wonderful things, people and experiences. There will also be ugly, frightful and not so wonderful things ahead of us, but we can get through it. Manalig ka, ika nga ni Kuya Ron kanina. Higit sa lahat, hindi natin nakakalimutan ang mga tao sa ating nakaraan, dahil sila ang gabay at tulong para sa ating hinaharap. Lubos kong ikinagagalak ang pagkakaroon ng kaibig-ibig kong mga kaibigan, pamilya at ang Poon. Salamat po ng marami.
